Stage, stall and walkabout entertainment appearing at The Grand Hallowe'en Ball:

Host: Mister Meredith
(Photo: Ayesha Hussain)

Mister Meredith is a very naughty compère and should be spanked for best results.

His piano singalong nights at Norman’s Coach and Horses (as seen on BBC), The King William IV in Hampstead and
The George Tavern in the East End have become quite the party on the London scene with many a celebrity guest getting their knees up round his instrument.
For the last ten years he’s been playing for the Inside Soap Awards.

Bringing years of experience in theatre and hosting grand events (he is officially vintage himself, bordering on the antique), he has had residencies at
Proud Cabaret, Madame Jojo’s and Hester’s Hideout and frequently compères for Gin House Burlesque, guesting at many other nights.

Like The Master himself, his songs are often lewd and biting, so come prepared.

Bruise Violet

Bruise Violet, also known as The Emerald Inferno earned her name through her high energy routines which have been thrilling the UK burlesque scene since 2009.
A World Burlesque Games winner (British Crown 2013) her style has evolved through the classic into the contemporary and comedic.

Hailing from Sheffield and now residing in Henley on Thames,  and a firm fixture on the South East Burlesque circuit.
A whirlwind of passion and colour!

Avdotia - The Russian Doll
(Photographer:  V's Anchor Studio)

 Russia's finest export.

Scintillation, titillation and sass are just a few weapons of choice for this delicate doll from Mother Russia.
Avdotia's intricate choreography not only displays her stunning physique, but tips its rhinestone toes into the eternally glamorous golden age of striptease.
With precision and poise worthy of a world class ballerina, our Russian doll will thaw even the coldest of hearts.
A force to be reckoned with, Avdotia is rapidly conquering the burlesque scene with titles already adorning her trophy cabinet.
Her burlesque stands alone and is instantly recognisable for its crystal clear direction, high class sensuality and world class execution.

Avdotia has over 20 years of experience in performing, choreography and producing.
She began her professional dancing career in 1998 after she's graduated from the University of Culture with a Masters degree in Choreography and Performance (Belarus).
Trained in classical ballet, jazz, & contemporary dance, she formed her own group and toured all over the world for 5 years.

Continuing her dancing career, she was touring in Europe for a couple of years where she impressed her audience with elegant performances and elaborately made costumes.
A few years ago Avdotia began her adventure into burlesque.
Her first appearance was at Madame Jo Jo's in London. Since then she is on high demand to show her talent on various stages and venues.

Avdotia pays attention to every movement and detail in her routine. Combining old-school glamour and modern twist, her performance oozes femininity and charm.
She finds her inspiration from the Hollywood Golden Age movies, jazz music, musicals and art.
