Saucy Davis Jr.

Since graduating with honours from Urdang, Darren Charles has played leading roles in many shows both on the West End and around the World, such as Carmen Jones, Five Guys Named Moe, Bollywood Nights, The Screams Of Kitty Genovese, A Harlem Dream, Sister Act, Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Guys & Dolls, An Evening Of Burlesque, Dead On Time (murder mystery), and is known for his performance as the iconic Sammy Davis Jr. in The Rat Pack Live From Las Vegas and other Rat Pack shows around the globe.


Darren is well known in the Cabaret scene as his alter ego Saucy Davis Jr. a Host, Compere, singer, tap dancer and Master Of Ceremonies performing in some of the UK's top Cabaret venues.


Darren has also performed for historic events and places such as The London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, The National Theatre’s 50th Anniversary of Black Theatre, & most recently, The Orient Express, and The Belmond British Pullman in the immersive Murder Mystery Dead On Time and The Carriage Club. Darren is a founding member of UK Hip Hop Dance company BirdGang.

Demi Noire

The soul sista of burlesque!


Ranked No15 most influential burlesque artist worldwide, and No1 in the UK in 21st Century Burlesque Magazine 2020.


A London-based performer who brings sexy, funny, and powerful characters to the world of burlesque and cabaret.


Demi Noire prides herself on making her audience giggle, scream and shout while she injects the space with sass, style and soul. An all-round entertainer – this one is strictly for the adults.

Vicky Butterfly

Vicky Butterfly is known for her ethereal, classic style: for over twenty years, she has been enchanting audiences around the globe and has also brought her magic to music videos for artists like Cutting Crew and stadium projections for artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Paul Weller, Kings of Leon and The Verve.



A La Clique headliner, she is a past winner of the "Most Dazzling" trophy at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and is also half of illusion duo The Glamourists. She has been featured in the pages of Italian Marie Claire and Vogue, multiple BBC documentaries and her diverse career has ranged from performances at the Victoria and Albert Museum, to an ice-skating show to open Westfield!

As a member of the renowned Haus of Oh, Mau Oh is celebrated for their high-energy and entertaining performances that have stolen hearts across Europe and most recently, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas. Join in the fun and experience the magic as Mau Oh lights up the stage with their unique charm and magnetic presence.

  • Tickets

    • By making a booking/ticket purchase; you are showing full agreement to our Booking Terms & Conditions. Once purchased, we cannot offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for ticket purchases not wanted/used/claimed, etc. We can only offer refunds or exchanges if an event has been cancelled or rescheduled.

    • All advance tickets will be held for collection at the venue box office as doors open at 7pm on the show date.

    • Tickets will be detailed/saved under the name of the person/PayPal account they were booked by.

    • All show seating choice/seating allocation will be confirmed via a full booking confirmation email, which will be sent to your registered PayPal account email address within 24hrs of your purchase. Please make sure the email address you have registered with your PayPal account is current!

    • Ticket Resale: In the event that a ticket cannot be used and we are informed in advance of the show date (and no less than 24hrs before the show date); upon specific request, we can help to re-sell the ticket(s) by offering it/them to our mailing list. Please note: we can't guarantee any re-sale.
    • Resale Consideration: Your ticket will only be considered as re-sold if the entire show is sold out.
    • Re-Stock/Resale Charge: If we manage to re-sell your ticket(s) successfully, it/they will incur a 25% re-stock/resale charge as a standard fee to cover the entire costs of ticket reallocation.

  • General Accessibility

    We are very sorry - The Library Theatre currently has no wheelchair or step-free access available.


    Due to ongoing renovation works being undertaken by Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Central Library, The Library Theatre unfortunately cannot accommodate wheelchair users at this time, and there is currently no accessible/disabled toilet available at the venue.


    Access to the theatre involves:


    - Two flights of stairs from the main entrance on Tudor Square down to the foyer/bar area.


    - A short flight of stairs from the foyer/bar up into the main theatre space.


    - An additional flight of stairs inside the theatre leading down into the seating area (unless you select seats at the top of the auditorium, near the entrance).


    - You can view the layout via the seating plan on the ticket page, or see a visual overview in THIS POPUP VIDEO. (Mobile users - please contact us for a video link.)


    Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Library Theatre are working towards long-term improvements to ensure the space becomes more accessible in the future. 


    We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for understanding that this matter is beyond our control.

  • Allocated Seating

    • You will be able to choose your preferred seating via checkout.

    • Kindly be aware that our seating arrangement policy does not permit a single-seat gap between selected seats. As a standard procedure; we take the necessary steps to fill in any one-seat gaps that may occur due to seating choices.

  • Car Parking

    • The Library Theatre does not have an allocated car park, however, there are various signposted NCP/Q-Park covered car parks, on-street parking, plus open-air car park areas surrounding the City Centre & the Theatre District.


  • General Show Information

    • This event will include flashing lights and loud noise - if you have an aversion or trigger to either, we suggest that this event is probably not suitable for you.

    • The bar will open as doors open. There will be 2x or 3x acts, with an interval in between each act. The bar will remain open after the show until midnight.

    • We generally state a flexible time of 11-11:30pm as the end of show time, just in case the show/venue/bar (& toilet queues!) have experienced any delays during the night. If you need to book travel, we recommend that you book from 11:30pm so not to miss any of the show due to any delays.

    • Please note: Our shows are obviously labelled/billed as an 18+ Cert.

    • Due to content, some acts/performances will obviously include bawdy/risqué style humour/themes/language, plus there will be some degree of striptease.

    • We trust that having chosen to come along and see such a show as this, our general adult audience has a broad and inquisitive mind ... if not, our show/event is perhaps not for you. 

    • Please dress smartly.

    • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from the venue who is displaying aggressive or unwanted behaviour.

    • Performers may be subject to change without notice.

    • In very rare occurrences; unforeseen circumstances may sometimes lead to show/event cancellation or postponement. (Eg: Covid lockdown.) In the event of a show cancellation/postponement, we will offer all ticketholders the choice of receiving a full refund of their ticket value. Please note, however, that while we will ensure the refund of the ticket costs, our liability does not extend to any ancillary expenditure incurred. (This includes but is not limited to expenditures related to travel, accommodation, and food, etc.)
